Hasan Balaghi

Hasan is the principal founder of the firm and a Chartered Legal Executive (FCILEx), a qualified lawyer regulated by CILEx Regulation. With more than a decade of experience spanning law, regulation and business, he brings a distinctly commercial perspective to complex legal and regulatory matters, with a strong understanding of the wider business objectives that often sit behind them.

Before establishing the firm, Hasan built his career within highly regulated sectors operating under frameworks overseen by the Ministry of Justice and the Financial Conduct Authority. This experience developed his understanding of regulatory risk, compliance and the commercial realities faced by businesses operating in regulated environments.

His legal experience includes shareholder and commercial disputes, corporate restructuring, regulatory matters and complex financial investigations, including matters involving the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002. He is particularly experienced in situations where legal, regulatory and commercial considerations intersect.

Hasan has also developed specialist expertise within the motor trade, working closely with dealerships and traders on consumer law, regulatory compliance and complex disputes. His sector knowledge is supported by specialist training with The Motor Ombudsman and the Chartered Trading Standards Institute.

His broader commercial experience enables him to approach matters from more than a purely legal perspective. Having worked closely with businesses through periods of growth, restructuring and strategic transition, Hasan combines legal judgment with commercial and financial insight to identify risk, resolve difficult issues and help clients make informed strategic decisions.
