Paralegal
Anam Shahzadi is a Paralegal with experience across family law, immigration law, and civil litigation. She is legally trained, holding an LLB, a Master’s degree in International Commercial and Dispute Resolution Law, and has completed the Legal Practice Course (LPC). She has also completed a Master’s pathway specialising in Family Law, with a particular focus on English and Islamic divorce. Anam has practical experience supporting immigration matters, including spouse visas, EU residence applications, and the 10-year route to settlement. She has volunteered with Bail for Immigration Detainees (BID), assisting clients with immigration bail applications and conducting face-to-face visits at immigration detention and deportation centres, gaining experience working closely with vulnerable clients. In family law, Anam assists with divorce proceedings, child arrangement orders, and the preparation of injunctions, including Non-Molestation Orders. She also has experience managing Islamic divorce matters, liaising with local Imams and community leaders to ensure culturally sensitive and effective outcomes. In addition, she has experience supporting civil litigation matters. Anam is highly motivated, proactive, and committed to continuous professional development, with a strong focus on expanding her legal knowledge and practical skills.
